New software house Headquarters

Plan offers its design and technical support to Korus International K.I. Srl as General Contractor for the renovation of a building’s portion in Basel, identified by an important American software company as its new Swiss headquarters.

The intervention area is spread over three floors and interprets the most modern office concept, where the workplace is characterized by various operational spaces: from classic open space operational workstations to dedicated Team Hubs to discussion and exchange activities, from meeting and conference rooms of various sizes to focus rooms designed for the individual. The varied working dimension is also enriched with convivial spaces such as café areas, game and music rooms and an outdoor terrace for moments of relaxation, creating a working environment capable of promoting connectivity, flexibility and exchange of ideas and skills.

A complex and refined project, in which the technological solution designed and created responded to the high acoustic and internal comfort requirements requested by the customer, giving maximum attention to the attention to detail required by the design and mood diversified for each individual environment.

Plan supports Korus International as a design contact for the entire duration of the pre-construction phase through a Design and Project management in line with the customer’s requests, which led to the development of a civil executive project integrated with the plant project, combined with budget drafting and value engineering activities, as well as being a coordination figure with the various stakeholders involved.

During the construction phase Plan supported the construction through a Construction management & supervisor; in order to manage and monitor the implementation as defined in the executive phase.
